O Sacrum Convivium Online

Description
Angelus Press is proud to offer these outstanding works of Sacred Music, recorded by the German-speaking FSSPX Catholic Youth Movement’s Choir Week, and Chamber Choir.
Spiritual choral music in honor of the Blessed Sacrament
The Blessed Sacrament, consecrated at Holy Mass, is the most important of all the sacraments, because Christ Himself becomes present in it. With this album, the German-speaking Catholic Youth Movement (KJB) has fashioned a musical bouquet in honour of the Holy Eucharist, around which all other sacraments revolve. Choral works from various centuries sing of the majesty and sweetness of this supernatural nourishment. Naturally, the album includes the “Ave Verum” which Mozart composed in 1791, the year he died, as well as Franck’s “Panis Angelicus”, which – in the French custom – often replaced the Benedictus in sung masses.
